Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

With over ten years of experience working with individuals to fulfill their career goals, I work with mid to senior career professional to create a customized career coaching plan to fit your needs. I ask that my potential clients do an initial complimentary consultation so that we can assure a good match. This is an opportunity to ask any questions you might have and to discuss what the coaching experience can be for you. These consultations are anywhere from 20-30 minutes.
Our careers are such a significant aspect of our lives that career coaching and life coaching intersect. It is virtually impossible to think about your career without other life factors coming into play. Through coaching, I provide a space for you to discuss all areas of your life, without judgment, moving you forward at a pace that is right for you.
Each of us has the answers within to what will lead to career fulfillment; I will coach you to discover those answers. However, you may want counseling so if that is what you need, we can explore that as well.(The differences between Career Coaching and Career Counseling)
For as long as I can remember, helping others has been a core component of my life and has transcended into my career. I am passionate about working with individuals on their quest to create and find meaning in their work and life. Finding meaning is different for each one of us and coaching will bring clarity and unlock those answers, eliminating any feelings of being stuck.
I have worked in a variety of spaces where individuals are looking for the right career match, career coaching and counseling.
In 2000, I began technical recruiting in San Francisco where I worked with companies of all sizes to hire top talent. In 2004 I earned a Masters in Public Administration at George Washington University. After earning a Masters I worked at Brandeis University's Career Center as the Assistant Director of Academic Internships and Service Learning, working one-on-one with students to clarify their career goals, prepare for interviews, and provide resume critiques. From 2006 until June 2011 I worked as a Professional Recruiter/Senior Staffing Manager at Winter Wyman, a firm with more than 35 years of experience and one of the largest and most recognized staffing firms in the Northeast. I worked with technology professionals to find jobs that matched their goals and skills, assisted with salary negotiations, and provided resume critiques, interviewing tips, and career assistance. I also am a proud UMass Amherst alumni where I studied STPEC, Women's Studies and Political Science.
All of these experiences have allowed me to master the art of asking the right questions and work with people to realize their own truths, have more choices then they think, choose the path that is right for them, and provide practical critiques and suggestions on resume writing, interviewing skills, informational interviewing and strategies on how to get a foot in the door.
I live with my husband and two young daughters outside of Boston and love to cook, hike, be outdoors, read, volunteer and be with my family.
I am a Certified Professional Coach, CPC, through iPEC which is accredited by the International Coach Federation.
